Each piece is a one off and no two pieces are ever exactly the same. The materials I work with are mainly steel and brass. In some cases the steel is given a high polish finish and the coated with a clear coat lacquer. This lacquer renders the work suitable for indoors only. In other cases the steel is given a painted finish. This is done using artists oil paints and a clear coat of lacquer is then applied.

Other materials include brass, glass and wood.

I am currently engaged in setting up a bronze foundry which will open up a new world of casting.
