The work here is mainly constructed in Corten steel. This material is suitable for outdoor locations as it oxidises to a certain degree and then stops leaving a rich 'rust' patination on the finished piece. Corten was used in 'Amergin' which is sited in Co Kerry. The steel can also be sealed with either a clear lacquer or wax.
